Havanavahavah,
Not sure about the ice rink but the clubhouse will certainly be turned into quagmire by the club dinner. Particularly if the Euro Pate mountain returns...
Tour reunion anyone? |

Club Dinner 9th May
Get your name down for a ticket to the club dinner now. The cost is £37.50 and includes a three course dinner, wine and entertainment.
You can buy your ticket online or by sending me a cheque or by paying direct into the club bank account (email me for details). I will not be accepting any cash (can't be trusted not to drink it as soon as you give it to me). Numbers are limited this year, purely for my own sanity so if you want a ticket, buy it now.

I'm not so sure that the sevens team named below would be allowed in the same area at the same time for fear of affecting the tides... |

MC jnr, the wimp, had a small scratch to his head requiring 4 stitches. Why he came off the pitch, no idea. Let his team down. As a forward, a head injury is of no importance. Worse effect was Dad missed valuable drinking time whilst waiting at Epsom hospital. Father & son now recovering well. |

The season isn't over yet. We are arranging some friendly games for 1 or 2 teams for the next couple of weeks. Give availability to your Captains. It was a shame that the 1s got so close to promotion but fell at the last hurdle. The one major weakness we have as a Club is the lack of commitment to training. Something we must address for next season, any ideas on how to improve numbers? |

Can only feel sorry for the guys at Farnham. We've been there before and it hurt.
Thanks to the hard work of the Club Committee and players we've managed to get ourselves back on a decent footing with great potential for the future. Let's hope that Farnham can do the same (some decent pitches there would be a good start though!)

No wrong un NOT playing as he felt it only right that in order to do the best slagging - he HAS to be on that touch line - We call it 'Mum Motivation" in the 2's - A new tactic.
As for my tackling - I got a phone call when i got home(unlike my good mate Dins) from a Spanish events company and they feel a season with their matadors will put me in good stead for new season.

Thanks chaps for a great tour. When you have a good bunch of guys going on tour, it makes things all the better and I speak on behalf of the Committee in saying thanks to you all for a top weekend. Bognor RFC have asked me to thank the chaps for a great day on Saturday. They apologised for lack of singing but hope to see us again and rectify the problem.
